I’m delighted to introduce Theatre in Birmingham, a new website created to celebrate the incredible theatre and performing arts scene in Birmingham. As someone who has loved the magic of theatre for as long as I can remember, it’s been a joy to bring this project to life.
Alexandra Theatre
Birmingham has so much to offer when it comes to the arts. From the dazzling productions at the Birmingham Hippodrome and Alexandra Theatre to the performances in smaller venues, there’s something here for everyone. We want to create a space where all of this is brought together.
Here’s what you can expect from Theatre in Birmingham:
What’s On: A comprehensive guide to all the shows, from big productions to local gems you might not have heard about yet.
News and Stories: Updates, reviews, and insights into what’s happening on and off the stage.
Behind the Scenes: Interviews and features that shine a light on the people who make theatre happen – directors, actors, set designers, and more.
Whether you’re a lifelong theatre lover like me, a budding performer, or someone just discovering the joy of live performance, Theatre in Birmingham is for you. This site is about celebrating creativity, sharing stories, and supporting the incredible talent in our city.
I’d love for you to join me on this journey – bookmark the site, share it with your friends, and let’s make this a thriving hub for all things theatre in Birmingham.
Thanks for being part of this adventure,
